All payment processing for Technosight subscriptions is conducted exclusively by our Merchant of Record, Paddle.com Market Ltd. (and Paddle Inc.).

Payment card details (credit/debit card numbers, expiration dates, security codes, billing addresses, Apple Pay, and PayPal accounts) are collected directly by Paddle within a secure, PCI-DSS Level 1 certified environment.

Technosight never sees, processes, or stores your full credit or debit card numbers on our servers. Paddle processes this information in accordance with their own comprehensive privacy documentation, accessible at Paddle’s Privacy Policy.

4. Lawful Bases for Processing Personal Data

We process your personal information only when we have a valid legal basis:

  • Performance of a Contract: To manage your account, verify access credentials, deliver paywalled research reports, and fulfill your subscription agreement.

  • Legal & Regulatory Obligations: To comply with applicable Guernsey corporate, financial, and tax accounting requirements.
  • Consent: Where you have provided express consent, such as receiving optional email notifications or research newsletters.

5. Data Sharing & Third-Party Processors

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to advertisers or third parties. We share data only with trusted service providers who assist us in operating our platform under strict confidentiality agreements:

  • Paddle.com Market Ltd. (UK): Merchant of Record for online payments, fraud prevention, and sales tax compliance.

6. International Data Transfers

Technosight operates from Guernsey (Channel Islands). The European Commission has officially recognized the Bailiwick of Guernsey as providing an adequate level of data protection equivalent to EU law. Where personal data is transferred outside Guernsey or the UK/EEA, we implement approved Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) to guarantee equivalent protection.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account and profile information for as long as your Technosight account remains active. If you delete your account or cancel your subscription, we retain transaction metadata and tax records for up to six (6) years to satisfy statutory accounting, legal, and regulatory auditing obligations in Guernsey.
